Scalia's scalding remarks

I have not been fortunate enough to have listened to the podcast on BBC Radio 4 where US Justice Antonin Scalia made some quite unorthodox remarks about torture and evidence gained through such means. I was fortunate however to catch a snippet of one of the controversial statements and the tone alone was surprising. At least someone is honest. Most of us think it, don't we. If national security is at risk, Machiavelli rages his justificatory head...the ends justify the means so what's losing a finger to save a building of people?

Update Crim

It's been a month since my last post. I prefer not to write unless I have something of substance, at least in my L1 estimation to say. So I have been nervously trying to finish Crim Law so that I can move on before the bombshell called exams drop.

The last time I checked in, I was reading Fraud, since then I have covered simple and aggravated non fatal offences, sexual offences and I am now moving on to defences. Homicide has been visited and REvisited so I need some REvision before I can RElax. So off I go to read defences. Stay tuned.
